Develop brand and product awareness for e-Commerce applications within a channel of over 160 Navision Solution Centres. Development of marketing materials and channel communications processes. Negotiate reseller and OEM sales agreements.

Sales Director - Neptune8.com, Markham, Ontario (2002 - present p.t.)

Established sales and marketing program for Internet based data visualisation software application. Engineered custom Web applications for clients using CGI and Perl.

V.P. Business Development - Sea Change Corporation, Concord, Ontario. (1995 –2002)

Established and built a successful business unit that created BookWhere, the leading MS Windows based Internet search and retrieval software for the research, academic and library markets. Co-ordinated entire product lifecycle for shrink-wrap, OEM and custom built products. Responsible for business development and managing the implementation of strategic OEM and reseller customer accounts.

Built an international distribution network of over 50 resellers. Designed, developed and sold an OEM package for Windows which is currently installed on over 80,000 desktop machines. This strategic account generated over $500,000 in revenue. Managed the development of a Web based distributed directory service employing Java, XML, SOAP technology designed as an OEM product for software vendors. Successfully obtained $200,000 in government funding for research and development activities. Managed several external customers' Web sites. Exhibited at trade shows and was invited to make presentations at industry events. Directed a staff of four software developers and one sales person and provided direction to corporate marketing department. Built business unit from scratch to over $100,000 per month in revenue.

Regional Sales Manager - Best-Seller Library Management Inc. (1994 - 1995)

Introduced the company’s UNIX based on-line transaction processing system (OLTP) to organisations throughout Canada an with emphasis on the Ontario region. Developed and implemented sales and marketing plan for english Canada. Achieved important initial sales for company outside traditional market.

Product Manager - Apak Systems Limited. (1989 - 1993)

Designed and co-ordinated the implementation of new products running under SCO UNIX. Managed sales and sales support for clients. Provided technical support for the main product offered by the company, a client/server-based application utilising a UNIX based server and DOS - Windows based clients. Managed the installation and configuration of systems to meet customer requirements. Supervised three people in production of CD-ROM databases generated from customers' data. Created a new database application using MS-Access and SQL database system. (Apak acquired this business from Pendragon Optical Media in 1991)

Software Support Manager - Geac Computers International (1988 - 1989

Managed the Library Systems Division department of 25 staff supporting hundreds of major libraries throughout North America.
